ALPHONSA NIVAS

The second house Alphonsa Nivas was started in the village area of Irusumanda on 28th July 1989. It was Rev. Fr. Mathew Kunnupuram, who is the founder of the parish, took interest and invited us through the Bishop of Eluru. We are having St.Joseph's English Medium High school. Sisters are engaged in parish work, school and social work. They also give treatment to those who are affected by poison. So many patients are coming and they are miraculously cured. These wonderful healings are due to the faith of the patients and the sincere prayers of the sisters. The pioneers were Rev. Mother Carmel, Sr.Joyce Treasa  and Sr.Rosmin. On 14th May 2014  we celebrated the silver jubilee of the Convent.Now Rev.Sr. Julit is the superior and Rev.Sr.Anet is the H.M. Rev.Mother. Tresa Pulickal, Rev.Sr.Joyce Treasa and Rev.Sr.Ancilit are the community members.
